I went back to your old blog to read how you go started, and see your first images, and it is SO encouraging to see that I can still make it in this business even though I'm starting small. You didn't have the world's best gear in the beginning, and yet here you are now, at the top of the wedding photography heap, changing lives and telling beautiful stories with your images.
These photos made my heart stop. The bride and groom look like something out of a catalog- no, better- a movie. The dress, the light, the trees, the details, they are all stunning.

10.23.09 - 1:22pm Jasmine* @Alicia: I don't do anything specifically to protect the dress...I just make sure I place the bride in a spot that could easily brush off the dress, should anything get on it. Furthermore, brides who are willing to lay down are adventurous and willing to get a little dusty for the type of photos they want. I never suggest them laying down, but if they've requested it, I'm always thrilled. Sometimes I will place the flap of my Shootsac under their bottom to protect from the weight distributed in that particular section, but nothing else is done. And, yes, I realize I have some amazing brides! :) 10.23.09 - 1:19pm
