I also have a couple of questions: when you set up your showit site, are you still using pictage for orders? When you post to the facebook site, are you using small files to stop the copy/paste/print people have a tendency to do? Or are you not worried about it because it is branded to you already?

Jasmine* @Ryan: Showit doesn't place a restriction on image size, although some photographers do place size restrictions on their sites. I haven't experienced issues with it on my end, but if you'd like to try a free month feel free to email me and I'll send you a code, so you can check it out yourself! :) @Christa: Like I mentioned in the post, Michael from Myntd.com designed the site, but we make all the changes and add each site ourselves. 03.22.10 - 1:10pm Ryan B I have a handful of photographer friends and colleagues that use SHOWIT for their websites and blogs. For the most part, I like the way the websites layout and navigate; but Ive noticed, pretty consistently, that their photos are sooo compressed that they look pretty rough (think how photos on facebook look and sometimes even worse). I dont have personal experience with SHOWIT sites, other than viewing them online, so I have a couple of questions. Is this a setting or choice by the web developer to reduce overall size or is this a limitation of SHOWIT? Because its a shame to see such great photos get all of the detail and resolution removed, and as a result, not accurately portray the photographers work.
