07.23.10 - 1:01pm Jessica Hey.... I love your blog!! It helps to inspire me to continue posting on my own!!! Anyway.. thought I would recommend to you a book that my husband wrote. It's actually a top seller on Borders and it's a memoir called, Lost & Found (by David L. Johnson Jr.) Also, he is in the process of publishing his second book called Decoded. It's actually more of a dating/relationship book. Feel free to just google it or look it up on Borders.
07.21.10 - 11:33pm Trina Thanks for the suggestions! I read East of Eden because you recommended it and oh my god. Fantastic book. I was so absorbed with the story I think I need to read it again to pick up on all the subtleties.
I've also read The Help...thumbs up from me.
I love that you are a blogger that also reads! Seems to be a rare thing and it reminds me to get away from the computer. 07.21.10 - 1:04pm
Evonne Wong You make me feel very guilty. I live on Maui and I don't go to the beach nearly as often as you do. So sad... :(

I can't believe that our library doesn't have The Help.
I think it is the only library in America that doesn't.
07.19.10 - 11:56pm Lindsay C. I'm totally with you with the whole "Beach=Reading". Why would I want to go get all yucky and salty and sandy when I could just sit here and read? Good times. (p.s. Redeeming Love by Francine Rivers is the best book I've ever read. Ever.)

07.19.10 - 7:56pm Christy Tyler That's so funny! I just posted on one of your old posts yesterday about Half Broke Horses! (I'm still catching up on your blog - sorry!) Anyway - I do agree. It's a great book but in comparison to The Glass Castle - not quiet there. But still great as a stand alone novel none-the-less! (Also - I found it probably more interesting after reading her first book because it was intriguing to see how her mother was raised that led to the life she had...as told in The Glass Castle)
