McCormick Ranch House Wedding : Allie+Taylor

Guests sat under the warm sun and eagerly anticipated their vows. Allie and Taylor are the type of people who surround themselves with friends who celebrate all they are and everything they aspire to become. As the pastor read their personal vows aloud, they smiled, laughed, and teared up with the the gravity of their professed love.

The wedding day was filled with love from their college buddies (they fell head-over-heels at UCLA), long embraces from family members, and rousing speeches from life-long friends. Everyone celebrated Allie's personal touches, Talyor's attention to friendship, and the amount of energy poured into making the wedding a night everyone would remember.

Allie and Taylor, thank you for inviting me to share in one lovely wedding day! From start to end, it embodied your care, devotion, and dedication to each other, but–more so–those around you. The day palpitated from the love you so easily share with others and I wish you many years of happiness together. Much Love and Appreciation… j*

The wedding day started at McCormick Ranch House and while it is beautiful in its own right, Allie's wedding details added extra flair…I mean, a pair of sparkly Kate Spade shoes with a bow?! Swoon worthy.

I can't even deal with Allie's Reem Acra wedding dress. It was beyond. And it looked so perfect on her…loved it!

Allie beamed on her wedding day…and what a stunning bride she made!

One of my favorite things about McCormick Ranch House is all the nooks and crannies for wedding photos, not mention beautiful light!

When Allie and Taylor saw each other for the first time on their wedding day, he couldn't keep his hands off her…

The wedding ceremony was filled with personal elements and so special to document…

A wedding with mariachis?! Sign me up!

After the ceremony, we roamed around McCormick Ranch House for more wedding photos…

I can't stress it enough…McCormick Ranch House is a perfect backdrop for wedding pictures…

Just when I thought I could like Allie more than I did, I saw her wedding reception…and was stunned. She planned, organized, and decorated everything on her own and the event was a true labor of love.

I should probably mention the bride made this piñata…made it BY HAND. And here I get excited if I don't burn white rice during dinner…if I didn't like her so much, I'd be jealous of her!

In lieu of a traditional wedding cake, the couple opted for an ice cream sandwich bar, hosted on this adorable bike. Too cute!

Officially official…and adorably happy.

…with amazing toasts…

…and amazing memories.

One of the most favorite things about shooting with JD is his unique perspective on the wedding day. Here's his angle of the First Dance…

…and my view of the First Dance…

I have amazing clients…not only did they want to lay in a tent for wedding photos, they laughed when their friends photobombed their moment…

Once the sun set alongside McCormick Ranch House, the dancing continued well into the night…

Many, many thanks to Becky of McCormick Ranch House who helped with the wedding coordination and ensured the day went off without a hitch…she was nothing short of marvelous.

And nothing ends a perfect wedding like a sparkler exit…
