By the time Thomas enlisted in the United States armed forces, he'd traveled the world and experienced more life than most. He lived in Germany for most of his young life, having followed his father who served in the Air Force, but Minnesota was a place he once called home. Years later, he found himself in Korea.

Samantha was the type of girl who couldn't quench her thirst for travel, adventure, and good food. She grew up and studied in Scotland, but the minute she received her passport, Samantha was bound for wherever life shipped her. As luck would have it, she boarded a plane to Korea to teach english. A couple weeks into her stay, she met a handsome boy at a bar. This American soldier stole her heart in an instant…and the feeling was mutual, perhaps in part to her soft Scottish accent.

A couple years later, they married in Minnesota and promised to live a life full of travel, adventure, and good food. Together. Thomas is currently stationed in Santa Barbara, but they'll be moving to Washington DC where he'll work with the White House…and Samantha is excited to stand by his side as he follows his dreams and she pursues hers.

I felt lucky to work with such an amazing couple for this photo shoot…they're so in love with each other you can't help but want to be around the percolations of their affection…

The day was overcast, but every once in a while, the sun popped its face out to shine goodness…
