Chicago Standard Club Wedding : Kirsten+Robbie

The lip of her silk robe slightly dangled open as she floated from each girl. Kirsten laughed, poked fun, and hugged everyone. At least three times. Her wedding day had arrived and with it came a mountain of emotions. Kirsten met Robbie in college and she was the last person to imagine she'd walk down the aisle with him by her side.

But Robbie is smitten with Kirsten. He boasts of her kind heart, intelligence, and wicked sense of humor as if they were his own. And perhaps they are. Perhaps years of being together have melded them in such a way that nothing belongs to them individually, but collectively. What's his is hers, what's hers is his.

Over the years, the couple has melded others into their love. Friends, family, and loved ones who share their happiness in real, tangible ways. It was this group of people who surrounded Kirsten and Robbie as they said I Do at The Standard Club in Chicago. The night was spent celebrating two amazing people officially becoming one…even though everyone realized their oneness happened a long time ago.

Kirsten and Robbie, thank you for melding me into the orbit of your love. You know I think you are some of the best, most kind, and funny people to be around. Your wedding was perfect and it felt like a dream documenting your first day as husband and wife. Hope you're enjoying Thailand…and be careful with those crazy scooter drivers! 😉 Much Love and Appreciation… j*

Kirsten and Robbie opted to see each other before the wedding ceremony to allocate enough time for extra wedding photos…love them!

To say Robbie was happy to see his bride would be an understatement…

An amazing bride makes the wedding day effortless…even though it was cold (I was wearing TWO jackets and a scarf), Kirsten walked the Chicago streets like it was a warm summer day!

Robbie and his 11 groomsmen made the streets of Chicago look extra dapper…

…but these beautiful ladies would not be outshone by the gentlemen…

The night continued with lots of dancing…

…and let's just say the hora can be just as scary as it is exciting! 😉

Overall, the wedding was nothing short of spectacular and filled with nothing but unadulterated love…
