Utah Wedding : Alicia + Brian

Their lives spanned various continents, with thousands of miles separating them, but somehow they knew, they were destined to find love at home. Brian and Alicia made their way back to the state they love: Utah. Tucked near the mountains sits the small city of Logan, filled with wild flowers, the smell of nectar in spring, and the nicest people in the United States.

One Sunday, on an afternoon at church, Alicia noticed a handsome boy with bright blue eyes. At the end of service, he waited until the chapel cleared and he introduced himself. They exchanged smiles and laughter and though she was speaking about her recent travels abroad, all she could notice was his smile and way he accentuated words when he spoke what he was passionate about.

They soon realized they were destined to be together…that the endless miles that once separated were only meant to prepare them for the closeness they'll create in the years to come. And if you were to listen to Brian talk about Alicia, each word is accentuated with unadulterated love, proving she's the thing he's the most passionate about.

Alicia and Brian, thank you for the honor of being welcomed into your home and families. Your day was beyond perfect and I wish you nothing but the best as you carve a path that's entirely your own. Much Love and Appreciation… j*

Alicia made a stunning bride and remained calm in spite of her Anne Barge wedding dress being reconstructed just a couple days before her big day…she laughed it off and her carefree spirit proved to be the best part of the wedding day…

Alicia dressed in her childhood home, surrounded by the hustle and bustle of her brothers and dad working tirelessly in the yard (more on that in a bit)…

Brian and Alicia married at the Mormon Temple in Logan, Utah on a truly stunning day…

Shortly after their sealing ceremony, guests were invited to Alicia's home as her parents hosted a stunning backyard reception…

Alicia and her bridesmaids had a style all their own…I mean, who doesn't love sequin skirts?!

The scattered clouds made for stunning light at the right moments…

The reception was in full swing, but Alicia wanted to enjoy a moment with her adorable flower girls…

As guests walked into rolling acres of the backyard, Alicia and Brian greeted them under a floral archway and personally thanked 400+ guests for attending…

Alicia, you are drop. dead. gorgeous.

Many (many!) thanks to the ever amazing, talented, and tireless Michelle Leo Events for making the day come to life…

Before guests arrived, the bride and groom ventured deeper into their backyard reception for wedding photos amongst wild flowers…

Why, yes, this is Alicia's backyard…it was breathtaking…

At another portion of the backyard, Alicia's brothers and sweet dad spent the afternoon ensuring the lake was ready for live music, strung Italian lights, and–yes–a cake sitting in the middle of the lake itself…

This pathway leads to Alicia's house and it made for the perfect backdrop for wedding photos…

It was a perfect night for an outdoor reception…

Instead of a traditional sit-down dinner, eight stations were set up offering various food options, all representing a location around the world that represented their love (Italy, Taiwan, Peru…just to name a few)…

Alicia and Brian were escorted by boat to enjoy their First Dance on a barge in the middle of the lake…

Their dance ended with a spectacular fireworks show, leaving everyone with a sense of romance, hope, and joy…

Everyone returned to the tent to enjoy the band and dance the night away…

The wedding was perfect and the love was felt in every aspect of their gorgeous backyard tent…

The day was a joy to be a part of and I owe a debt of gratitude to the amazing team who brought it all to life…
