The Final Week of The 30-Day Experience

At the risk of sound cliche, I have to ask, Where has time gone?! I started The Complete Wedding Photographer Experience with CreativeLive five weeks ago and the bootcamp will conclude this Friday. When we began, I anticipated it being an adventure, but I couldn't anticipate just how crazy things would get.

A Minor List of the Crazy:
-I was filmed during a client consultation at my studio
-How I felt then: Nervous, intimated, awkward, like I talked too much
-I was filmed shooting an engagement session on an incredibly windy and bright, hot day
-How I felt then: Overwhelmed, desperate, frustrated
-I was filmed shooting a real, live wedding for The Knot Magazine…at noon, no shade, with a difficult timeline
-How I felt then: Stressed, nervous, like I couldn't breathe for 10 hours straight
-I presented my entire marketing strategy and openly shared my pricing structure
-How I felt then: Questionable, vulnerable, exposed

But here's how I feel now: Proud, content, and honest.

It's funny how as business owners we run the gamut of emotions in order to follow our dreams…and what I've realized throughout this Photographer Experience is that we all face similar struggles, but together we are stronger.

This week you can tune into CreativeLive as this final week focuses on a TON OF SHOOTING DEMOS…woohoo!
Monday: How to Shoot in the Worst Light
Tuesday: Top 5 Tips for Shooting a Bridal Portrait
Wednesday: How to Shoot a Curvy Bride
Thursday: How to Shoot a Tall/Short Couple

On Friday I'll give a LIVE presentation from the CL Studio in San Francisco at 9am PST…I hope you'll join me online for that, especially because I have a reoccurring fear that the only person on the other side of the camera is my mother.
