Redondo Beach Engagement Photos : Lindsay+Ryan

They roamed the hallways of their high school at occasionally the same time, but they were easy to see amongst the crowd. Standing at six-feet tall, Lindsay's long blond hair (and legs) are anything but missable. Her smile lit up the corridors of their high school hallway, but also lit up the basketball court. It was on the wooden floor where Lindsay first noticed Ryan, standing almost seven-feet tall, in a way that was entirely new.

Their relationship blossomed through high school, college, and after Ryan was drafted to play basketball with the Los Angeles Lakers. They moved from North Carolina and now call LA home…but they're first to admit home is wherever they're together with their dog, Dug. The extensive travel they do, the hectic lives they lead, the copious amounts of Chipotle eaten on their dining room table…all of it is calibrated by simply being around each other. They share a fun, sincere, and real love that is immediately felt as soon as you walk into their home along the beach.

And that's precisely where we started their engagement session. The overcast afternoon was brightened by their electric personalities and I have no doubt their wedding will be nothing short of amazing.

Enjoying a glass of wine is always welcomed, but Dug has little patience for moments when he's not center stage! 😉

Speaking of Dug, let's just have a moment for this fur ball of cuteness…I LOVED HIM! After spending the afternoon with Dug, I'm now determined to adopt a Golden Doodle.

Ryan is one of the most laid-back guys and his niceness is only shadowed by how much he enjoys Lindsay and Dug's antics…

Case in point: Dug is a hugger.

Before heading to the beach, Dug needed one more cuddle.

Like any athletic couple, Lindsay and Ryan are competitive and find ways to have the most fun on the court…

We walked to the beach to end their engagement session…the slight breeze and gray sky created such a pretty mood for the photos…

I'll end with this simple photo…because, well, this is all they need in the world to be happy.

Happy Monday!
