There are few moments in life when words fail me, but now is one such moment. Yesterday I spent the day in Lake Arrowhead, California celebrating a wedding extraordinarily close to my heart. My younger sister, Alexandria Lavender, married her boyfriend of six years, Martin. Together, on Spring Solstice, they ushered in a new beginning and I couldn't have been more proud.

I will post more photos from their wedding soon, but I'm en route to New York City to photograph another wedding this weekend. Until then, here's a photo of my sweet sister on her wedding day…
