Happy Birthday JD!

Happy Birthday, JD!
I should start by saying that, even though there are a thousand things that come to my mind as you start a new year in life.

That one time–when you found a $100 dollar bill on the floor of Jamba Juice and instead of putting it in your pocket, you placed it in the tip jar–you taught me to give unexpectedly.

That one time–when you carried my mom from the car after a round of chemo and tucked her in bed–you taught me to be a solid foundation, even when the world around me is spinning.

That one time–when you told your handicapped sister that she was the prettiest girl in the room–you taught me inner beauty shines through when showered with encouragement.

That one time–when you bought hundreds of toys and drove us to Mexico to pass them out to kids in the street–you taught me kindness has no borders.

That one time–when you placed a diamond ring on my finger and promised to make me the happiest girl in the world–you taught me promises are never made to be broken.

Thank you for sharing your life with me and I couldn't be prouder to share this day with you as you usher in another amazing year of life.
Love You to the Moon and Back,
