As I was finishing the day’s three previous photoshoots, our island chef asked if I’d be able to capture a few pictures of he and his girlfriend, Danielle. I looked Matthew in the eyes and said I’d be honored! Our trip to Nicaragua wouldn’t have been half as amazing without his presence—both personally and in the kitchen. Our group of friends flew Matthew and Danielle from New Zealand for their culinary expertise and they blew our socks off! Every meal was made with love and care, not to mention DELICIOUS! I have a feeling I’m going to see them again…either when I visit New Zealand one day…or if I can convince JD to hire them as personal chefs here in the United States! 😉
