Let’s Meet on the Web…TOMORROW!

The first time I met a photographer, I couldn't unknot my tongue. Itttt wassss so so erhm so ahem awk awk awkward. The second time I met a photographer, it was much easier because I practiced saying Hi, my name is Jasmine Star a few times while brushing my teeth before our meeting. Meeting him made the photo industry seem less daunting (Hey, Universe, look! at! me! I have a photo friend!) simply because he was a familiar face. Something so small, meant so much.

It meant not walking into a party alone.
It meant someone to email with a question.
It meant a new Facebook friend.
It meant less lonely.

One friend is a powerful thing.

The first step to starting a photo business isn't what camera you own, or the best lens to use, or whether you should shoot Raw…it's simply making a friend. In light of this notion, the amazing people at Showit are finding ways to foster friendships in the photo world. One photographer at a time.

I'm honored and excited to invite you to the first ever Global Share Group tomorrow Wednesday, January 4, 2011, a live webcast I'll be hosting, conversing, and answering your questions from around the United States. This FREE event will be taking place in photographer studios/homes and they're opening their doors to anyone who wants to make friends in their area…and have fun along the way.

To get more information, feel free to CLICK HERE to find the meet-up location near you (yes, it'll only be available for those who attend in person). I hope to see you on the web soon!
