A few months ago, I had the pleasure of meeting Lyra. At the time, she was a fierce business woman successfully climbing the corporate ladder…but was torn by her love of photography. We spent a few hours talking about her dreams and passions and I couldn't shake the feeling Lyra was going to do amazing things in the world of children's portraiture if she just let go of her fears. Released the grip she had on her career, 401K, and steady paycheck. Lo and behold, just a few months later, Lyra is a full-time Arizona-based photographer is the Tucson/Phoenix area…and is launching a custom Showit Site soon (for a sneak peek, check it out)! When she contacted me to photograph her for the new site, I was more than happy to oblige!
