Marisa and Reuben : Day After

It was an unusually chilly day in San Juan Capistrano, but Marisa and Reuben braved the weather to make a little romance along the corridors of the Mission. They married in Los Angeles last August, and—although I was not their wedding photographer—they contacted me for a Day After Session.

Marisa and Reuben are very much in love and wear their devotion on their sleeves. They touch each other gently, listen to the words conveyed in between the lines, and look into each others’ eyes as if it was the first time. I’m quite sure they’re going to have a long and happy life together.

Marisa and Reuben, thank you for giving me a sneak peek into your lives, and into your hearts. I wish you the best as you follow your passions, dream big dreams, and throw caution to the wind. Much Love…J*

Forgive me…I have a fascination with men's wedding rings…

When Marisa told me she wanted to lay down in her dress, I was super stoked! She planed on cleaning the dress after the shoot, so what's a little dust at the end of the day? Nothing…especially considering she'll have these pictures for the rest of her life! 🙂

The Evolution of Happiness…

Peonies and Hydrangea are some of my favorite flowers and they looked so pretty in Marisa'a bouquet…
