Heather and Marc : Engagement

She was a sorority girl. He was a fraternity boy. And they shared a common love for their beloved University of Arizona Wildcats. In fact, if you look closely enough, they bleed red AND blue. Honest. During his fraternity philanthropic project–Delt Games–Marc was assigned to coach the beautiful ladies of Pi Beta Phi. One of the beautiful ladies happened to catch his eye and he hasn't let her out of his sight since. There was something special about Heather–perhaps it was her Orange County flair, her radiant smile, or the ability to laugh at herself–that made Marc fall in love.

A few years later, having returned to Tucson for Homecoming weekend, Heather and Marc enjoyed pizza at their favorite place, No Anchovies. Shortly after Marc had excused himself from the table, Heather received a text message to meet him in front of Old Main, a building on the U of A campus. Bewildered, she grabbed her purse and made her way to campus. Another text message. There's a note in your purse Heather took out the note and read it while walking toward Marc. As she approached, Marc bowed on one knee and asked for her hand in marriage. At the very place where their love began.

I'm SO excited for Heather and Marc's wedding this July…it's going to be fabulous and I'm stoked to hang out with them again. We had such a great time together and I know their wedding is going to be a blast! We shot their engagement session on a beautiful day last week and here are a few of my favorites…

Heather brought along their chess game to show off her mad gaming skills…

…and this is the face of a competitive girl! 😉

The thing I adore about Heather is her ability to make Marc laugh at a drop of a hat…a simple gesture, an inside joke, can make him crack up…and that's why I love this picture. It's just them.

Bring it, Heather, BRING IT ON!

This picture just makes me smile…doesn't Marc look like he's having the time of his life?! 😉

Did anyone else pick up on their homage to their alma mater by wearing Red&Blue? Com'on now…that's just adorable!

We ended the session at the beach and had a blast at sunset!
