WPPI : Photographer’s Ignite

It was the last day of WPPI in Las Vegas and I was lucky enough to be a part of Photographer's Ignite. If you're unfamiliar with the platform, a speaker is given five minutes to present a topic…yes, it's timed and corresponding slides indicate the passing of 15 second intervals. In other words: AGONY. Collecting thoughts and presenting a cohesive idea in 300 seconds was the hardest thing I've done, but I'm honored to have been given the opportunity.

I couldn't have created this presentation without two special people:
1. Melanie. She's my best friend and she rescued me in my time of need. Mel helped form my ideas and take on a new life.
2. JD. Because I memorized my presentation, he was the unlucky person who listened (and listened) to me practice in our hotel room. I'm incredibly fortunate to have such a supportive teammate. To see more five minute presentations from other amazing speakers, definitely check out Photographer's Ignite. And for those of you who offered kind words of support, THANK YOU. I was shaking like.a.leaf on stage, so reading your encouragement on Facebook and Twitter was much appreciated…I thank you, friends.
