Well, I've been thinking a lot about my life in light of my birthday this Monday. I'll be turning twenty…something years old. I'm happy and excited for what the future holds, knowing my life thus far has been blessed. In light of my birthday, I'm listing twenty…somethings about me. I know this entry will likely drive a few people nuts, but this blog is my online journal and a place for me to document my life. So here it goes…

1. I smile so big, you can see my molars.
2. I love oranges.
3. I'm afraid of being alone. Like, literally. I can't stand an empty house…it drive me nuts!
4. I have freckles on my arms. And legs.
5. If I like something, I buy two of it. I have the two identical sets of running shoes, jeans, robes, mascara…it's ridiculous.
6. I've been a vegetarian for 17 years (I was, ahem, 5 years old when I decided to forego meat…kinda)
7. I admit it. I like reality TV. Don't get me started on Toddlers and Tiaras or The Real Housewives or Project Runway…can't get enough of that trash!
8. I have a tendency to over-organize my life. Like, organize my organizational chart. It's totally weird.
9. I'm fiercely loyal. Almost to a fault, but my friends know I ain't ever leaving their side.
10. I wake up every day at 6:30am. Like clockwork, I'm awake and ready to fly.
11. A perfect vacation is a book, a beach, and a frosty beverage. With an umbrella.
12. My childhood dream was to become Connie Chung…I was going to take over the newcaster world and even promised to cut my hair in a bob a la Connie.
13. I'm selfish. There, I said it. It's one of my worst qualities, but something I try to harness with all my might.
14. I know JD loves me. I don't understand why, but I've stopped questioning it. I'm just happy he can deal with me!
15. I kissed a boy when I was 13 years old. (Just kidding, mom!)
16. I could never survive without Post-It Notes. Ever.
17. I struggle with my weight. I redefine yo-yo dieting, and it often depresses me.
18. I don't dream. Like, really, I don't have dreams when I sleep.
19. Coldplay is my favorite band.
20. I believe happiness and hope is contagious.
21. I hate when people talk during movies (I'M TALKING TO YOU, JD!)
22. I am content. And hopeful. And happy.

JD took this picture of me a few months ago and it makes me look like I'm all pensive and looking back to the past…like, I'm so deep! 😉

I am headed to Santa Ynez for a fabulous wedding this weekend and I can't wait to blog it, as well as a few more shoots from this week…life is flying at warp speed, but I'm extraordinarily thankful!
