A couple weeks ago, I received an email. I read it. Reread it. And then I told JD I didn't appreciate his joke. At all. You must think I'm so silly to believe you…Pfft! JD stared at me from the kitchen with a bottle of mustard in his right hand. Bewildered. You know…THE JOKE?! The mustard remained still. What email?

I ran to my computer and read the email aloud to him. Then he raised the mustard in the air and pumped it a few times. CONGRATS, Jazzy!

It was then when I realized it wasn't a joke.

With many thanks to American Photo Editors, I was selected as Top 10 Wedding Photographers 2009. I'm at a total loss for words because it doesn't seem real. But, darn it, I want to grab me a bottle of mustard and raise my fist in elation! I'm beyond thrilled and honored…I'll be the first to admit I don't deserve it, but it's a honor I cherish in the deepest part of my heart.
