As some of you might know, I'm notorious for making up my own words. Internet, it's a gift I tell ya. Don't know how to describe a needless desire of a gorgeous purse? Well, I'd say the purse was a superfluabulous purchase. Superfluous + Fabulous = Superfluabulous. Want to convey anger and frustration in code? It's just a furivilmenting situation!. Furious + Bedevilment = Furivilment. Oh, yes, I'm just FULL OF THEM!
What's most annoying, however, is when I mix an English word and a Spanish word….oh, just because I can. Booyah. So today, I'll spare the combining of languages and say I just have Dos Announcements.
Numero One:
In a couple weeks, I'll be hosting a Meet+Greet for SmugMug. This is an awesome opportunity for photographers to get together and just chew the phat. So often, people isolate themselves from each other and SM is looking for ways to connect people via their passion for photography. The meeting is open to EVERYONE (all levels of photography are welcome), so come join me and an awesome group of Los Angeles/Orange County/San Diego photographers as we get to know each other. CEO Chris MacAskill will be on hand to answer questions and discuss proofing/print fulfillment and CMO Jeff Jochum will chat about the best ways to market your business in the current economic climate.
And if THIS doesn't entice you, I'll ensure there'll be sugary treats for all who attend. Cause that's how I roll.
Numero Two:
A couple weeks ago, I photographed my twin sister, Bianca, for the launch of her new website. I'm so happy to announce it went LIVE yesterday! After seeing me use Showit for my photography website, she decided Showit would be a perfect fit for her too! I'm so proud of all she's doing and I know the future is bright for such an amazing girl…definitely check out her site and leave her nice comments because she begged me not to blog about it, but I'm just too proud not to! 😉 Here's her site: In The Name of Love
