Life, In This Moment

There are times when I don't want to forget the small details of life or the simple moments that can sometimes slip from memory, so I'm posting a capsule of my Life, In This Moment…

*Found this confetti soap in Seattle and I went back to the store and bought roughly 57 pounds of it before heading back home. LOVE it.
*Yesterday felt like a string of long days tied together with duct tape, so by the time I arrived home from traveling all day, I melted onto my couch and watched enough reality television to make Joel McHale proud.
*My mom texted me 22 times over the weekend (once reminding me to wear more blush)…and it made me 22 times more thankful for her fragile health.
*I smashed my finger in the trunk of our rental car. In disbelief, I whispered, oww oww oww and shifted my feet like I was doing The Running Man. Note to self: Congrats on having rhythm during pain.
*Realized yesterday my license expired. TWO MONTHS AGO. Apparently, I'm totally observant.
*I've been battling this question lately: Am I afraid of success?
*I don't know how to sew, type, or bake. It's a good thing I can do The Running Man.
*I think I have an obsession with brightly colored skinny jeans that will later prompt the Jasmine Star of 2019 to ask, What were you thinking wearing neon pants?!
*The LA Lakers made the playoffs…I cheer for this team like I'm sitting in Staples Center watching them live instead of at home in front of the television and pizza delivery.
*Whenever I read a book, I place things in it to serve as reminders of my life during that moment. I finished John Green's Looking for Alaska over the weekend and this is what I left tucked in between the pages:

My favorite thing about this photo is JD in the left hand corner. If you're wondering what's he's doing, welcome to the club.

Happy Tuesday!
