Christine and Benjamin : Wedding

The bouquets delicately rested in the bridal room of The Mission Inn, as if they’d spent their whole petal lives waiting to be caressed by diamond-clad fingers. Christine and her bridesmaids scurried into the room and peeled off layers of clothing, only to slip into their periwinkle dresses. Heels and earring followed suit. Then the bouquets got their chance to shine.

With the sun shining over the historic rooftop of The Mission, casting pointed and oblong shadows on the terracotta tiles below, Ben stood perched in an upstairs window and waved to guests. He proffered a thumbs-up sign only to receive cheers in response. Ben was ready to marry Christine, and as she made her way to the St. Francis of Assisi Chapel, she took a deep breath and smiled. Christine, very much like her bouquet, was ready to shine.

Christine and Ben, thank you so much for choosing me to document your special day. From the minute we met at your engagement session, I knew we were going to have a blast on your wedding day, and we did! Thank you! You are both kind, funny, and thoughtful…so being able to document your love with photos is something I truly cherish. I wish you only the best in your lives together. Much Love and Appreciation…J*

The light was just beautiful for wedding pictures at The Mission!

The wedding chapel was quite beautiful, complete with ornate walls and deep mahogany walls and ceilings…

JD caught this picture of the celebratory petal tossing…
