Land of Coffee and Rain

I have to admit that was a little overwhelmed with happiness when I read my blog this afternoon. I didn't realize I wouldn't have Internet access this weekend, so seeing such a welcoming response to Seattle just blew my socks off! ThankYOUThankYOUThankYOU! Although I was bummed out not being able to be in contact with The World (this is how JD refers to my life on the web), my husband was doing a jig in our lodge…apparently, he likes my undivided attention. Pffft, boys!

I'm in the airport right now, so please forgive my lack of response to everyone's generous tour guide, meal donor, and coffee offers…if this whole photography thing doesn't work out for me, I can come back to this city and eat free for a month! Thanks, friends!

I'm SO excited to go home because this week is going to be HUGE. I can't wait to blog yesterday's wedding because I loved the bride and groom more than I love homemade Seattle donuts…and trust me, I DEFINITELY tasted their glory. I also have a big announcement in store and I'm bursting at the seams. This could be attributed to my excitement…or the donuts.

Here's a picture of the AMAAAAZING farm we stayed at this weekend…we stayed in Carnation, Washington…at the Carnation Farm. I could have stayed there another week!

Here's a picture of me and JD…after 1,975 tries of getting a cute picture of us against the landscape, JD gave up and tried dumping me on the ground. Thankfully, my legs were strapped tightly around him and he couldn't get away. I know…I know…my talents never cease…

Happy Sunday!
