Rina and Nick : Wedding

She walked into the room with her thick brown hair tucked behind her eyes and her baseball t-shirt falling loosely around her shoulders. The tan colored shirt let strangers know who she was (BRIDE #07), but anyone looking at her on Saturday might have guessed she getting married because her smile shone brighter than the blazing sun. Rina ordered room service and, when later delivered, sat with a salad perched on her knees as her stylist curled and pinned her hair. As her bridesmaids pressed her dress, finished their makeup, and laughed about all the hard work they put into the reception details the night before, Rina thanked them profusely. When the girls were busy with their preparation, a silence would sometimes fall over the room and nothing but the sound of the air-conditioner filled the air. Then, almost out of nowhere, someone would realize the weight of the day and squeal, You’re getting married today!!

Nick is one of the happiest and jovial men, often marking his footsteps with a bounce or smooth dance step. However, upon seeing his bride walk down the aisle, tears filled his eyes and he bit his lower lip with such conviction one might have believed that such an action impeded tears to fall. The ceremony was a blend of cultures and traditions and there wasn’t a dry eye in the house when they stated their personal vows…although there were plenty of people biting their lips in attempts to stop the tears.

Rina and Nick…on the most popular day to be married in history, there was no other place I would have wanted to be than with you. You are both amazingly gracious, beautiful, and caring and your wedding was a true reflection of the love you share. Thank you for making JD and me feel like family and embracing us as true friends. Have fun in Brazil and be sure to take plenty of pictures with your new digital camera! 😉

Rina has a stunning Melissa Sweet wedding dress and even added custom touches to make her dress one-of-a-kind…it was beautiful!

Being in front of the camera isn't always easy, but Rina makes everything look like a breeze…and I'm sure it helped to have her fabulous bridesmaids cheering her on as she worked it for the camera!

A special thanks to Michelle and Kim of Charming Events for doing such a wonderful job coordinating the wedding, to Christina for being an amazing on-site coordinator, and to Hannah from Design Visage for making the girls look beautiful and keeping the preparation right on track. Working with this group of ladies was absolutely wonderful and made my day so much more enjoyable! :)To view more wedding photos (including Nick and Rina's funky first dance), CLICK HERE for a slideshow!
