Knight Clubbin’ and 11,000

There are times in my life when I’m totally okay with acting like a kid. A child. Okay, okay, an obstinate child left with too much freedom and oversized vocal chords. But a child nevertheless. Last night was one of those nights and I loved it.

A group of us got together to celebrate Brooke Keegan's birthday at Medieval Times and had a rockin’ dinner and tournament. Never have I sat with a group of people more impassioned with the fate of our knight than yesterday. We sat in the front row and screamed like Red&Yellow was one of our own. I’m still hearing faint echoes of our group in my left ear…Go Red and Yellllllllllllllow!!!

After the raucous tournament, we made our way to the exit, but not before stopping and tearing up the dance floor. Apparently, a DJ spins a Top 40 mix in their castle lounge, so seeing how we were a group of weekend-deprived wedding professionals, we danced like it was going out of style. Donning our paper crowns and red flags, we were definitely a sight!

And here’s the group shot…good grief…I really don’t think any of us had a clue what was going on when the photographer snapped this photo!

It's hard to list who's who, but here's a general idea from left to right: Julie Hill (who's throwing gang signs) from Elysium, Jeannie Savage (with husband John) and Michelle Weita (with husband Jimmy) from Details, Details Wedding Coodination, Aaron and Jen Delesie, Birthday Girl Brooke from Details, Details Wedding Coodination, me, Sonny from White Lilac, Joel, Jaime Snyder of Montage Resort Laguna Beach, John, Samuel and Audrey from Ira Lippke Studios, and Grace of Sweet GemsIn other news, I was SO incredibly stoked to see that Anne K. in LA was my 11,000th Blog Commentor yesterday… HOLLLLLLA!!! She will be getting an iTunes Gift Card for being so fabulous and making my day! Thank you, friends, for stopping by and sharing a small piece of your day with me…it means so much and I love the connection I develop with my readers. You rock! 🙂

In staying true to my Google Image fascination, I found this little gem when I typed in 11,000…awww yea. Me and Marie Osmond are rolling deep with our 11,000s…

Happy Wednesday!
