Shaken, Not Stirred

I woke this morning at six a.m. as if I was electrocuted. My hair in every direction, one eye closed, with my back straighter than a plank. And I’ve been running non-stop since. JD begged me to stop acting like a pinball, but I told him today’s no laughing matter. I am determined to do everything on my To Do List. Everything. I depart for the tour tomorrow and will hopefully arrive in Houston feeling like my loose ends are tied up.

That means I’ll be packing like a mad woman (if anyone has tips on packing for four weeks, hook a sistah up!), going to church, editing yesterday’s wedding, repairing a pedicure gone bad, completing my presentation, trying to catch up on email, picking up my dry cleaning, and going to dinner with my family. When I look at this list, my stomach feels like it’s riding the Tilt-A-Whirl, but if I can make it to tomorrow with my sanity in tact, I’m golden. Well, more like tarnished brass after a good cleaning, but semi-shiny nevertheless.

I’ll be blogging yesterday’s wedding from the road (with many thanks to Apple’s Leopard Operating System, I can access my main computer at home from my laptop and I’m totally synched with my programs via Apple’s Mobile Me…holllllla!), but here’s a sneak peek of what’s in store…

Happy Sunday!
