Nicole and Aaron : Wedding

S he woke early and peered out her bedroom window. The sky was still black, but Nicole could hear the sounds of rain tip-toeing on the pavement. The aquatic crescendo would have been welcomed had it not been the morning of her wedding. Her friends beckoned her back to sleep, so she closed her eyes and hoped for the best.
Thankfully, the best showed up in the form of laughter, champagne and scattered sunshine later that morning. Nicole and her bridesmaids milled around the house waiting their respective turns for their hair and makeup, filling their time taking pictures of each other and filling their glasses with chilled bubbly.
As Nicole made her way across the ceremony lawn—careful not to sink her sparkly heels into the moist grass—she approached Aaron from behind. Nicole reached out and tapped his shoulder, then coyly ducked in the opposite direction out of excitement, trepidation, and joy. They shared a quiet moment together and focused entirely on each other…and the gravity of the moment. Months of planning and hard work came to fruition and as they stood under the grey sky, their friends and family watched from a distance. In that moment, everyone was connected and it was the perfect way to begin the rest of their lives together.
Nicole and Aaron, thank you for being so wonderful. Your friends and families made us feel welcomed and immediately were put at ease because of their kindness. I wish you the best in your lives together and have fun on your honeymoon! Much Appreciation…J*
