Friends Don’t Let Friends…

I got a little teary-eyed when I left the house. It's been a long couple of weeks and coupled with travel, I'm near done tuckered out. I needed a break and thankfully I was headed out the door for one. I headed to Newport Beach to meet a few friends for lunch, girls I've known for more than half my life…girls who can fill in the gaps of silence with knowing nods when I'm lost for words.

I'm thankful for the amazing people in my life and the way they remind me to, well, always be me.

My dear, sweet, wonderful friend, Jennie Finch, just announced news of her third pregnancy! We couldn't be more happy for her and it gave us a great reason to go shopping for the new baby!

My twin sister, Bianca, my amazing friend Brianna, and my sister from another mister, Melanie (not pictured), are the backbone to who I am and I couldn't picture my life without their undying support…

Many thanks to our waitress for this photo…but, yeah, I'm a bit unfocused. 😉

Later, when Bri successfully pried me from my computer, we found ourselves at Chipotle, but not without the trusted companionship of my best friend, Polo. She rolled her eyes and asked why I had to bring my dog and I scoffed. I cleared my throat and said, Friends don't let friends eat Chipotle without each other. Polo winked my way and blew me a kiss.

Happy Wednesday!
