Pelican Hill Wedding : Elise + Chris

It seemed apropos for her to marry in a garden. Elise spent her childhood roaming through her grandparents' gardens, acres of vegetables and flowers just begging to be picked. She shucked corn with her grandma and removed worms from the soft, brown soil from where they grew. Years later, she returned to those gardens with her fiance, Chris, to walk the pathways that contained the sweetest memories.

On their wedding day, love letters her grandfather wrote to her grandmother were read aloud…deep declarations of loyalty, devotion, and affection from a solider stationed in London during World War II. In like manner, Chris promised his life to his blushing bride surrounded by flowers, as friends and family looked on. They swore to keep things fresh, to love until their last breath, and to never go to bed angry.

Just like flowers in her grandmother's garden, Elise and Chris were begging to be picked. Luckily for them, they picked each other for a life of love and happiness.

Elise and Chris, I hope you're enjoying every second of your surprise honeymoon in Tahiti…island hop until your feet get tired! 😉 Thank you for allowing me the privilege to capture your first day as husband and wife…it was an honor I didn't take lightly. Much Love and Appreciation… j*
