Goodbye Cabo, Hello Apocalypse!

Oh, hey, the world is supposed to end today. And I'm just looking forward to a nap. Speaking of naps, I've been taking quite a bit of those this week since I've been in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. Our last-minute vacation was incredible and I'm thankful to our friends at the One and Only Palmilla who made us feel at home. Speaking of home, it's place filled with gifts waiting to be wrapped and responsibilities. Why don't we just order guacamole and call it a day, right? WHO NEEDS A DAY FILLED WITH SCOTCH TAPE AND RED BOWS?!

I can't wait to see Polo and dress him in the miniature sombrero I found (he's way in touch with his roots) which is enough reason to go home without {much} complaint. Yes, I'm the girl who accidentally planned a return trip home on the great Apocalypse day. Well played, Mayans.

A blog reader from Australia emailed me and said she was writing from the future…and it's safe to say the world doesn't end. Whew, that was close.
