At first I thought it was a joke. And he did too. We laughed it off for three years until dear friends sat across the table from us and said, make it happen. Most everyone knows I work with my husband, JD, but he prefers to remain in the background. While an ever-present force in my business, JD is the quiet counterpart who likes to stay behind-the-scenes.
