Colonial Williamsburg Wedding: Stephanie+Jaeson

Their paths crossed in Philadelphia on the fourth of July and though they saw fireworks, Jaeson didn't initially feel them. Stephanie and her friends hung out with Jaeson and his friends, but he didn't exchange information at the end of the night. She was so intrigued with him, Stephanie opted to do detective work and find him after the parted ways in the City of Brotherly Love.

The unique way he spelled his name easily aided her efforts. J-A-E-S-O-N. And just like that, she found him on Facebook.

A few months later, after Jaeson corresponded with Stephanie and wooed her online, she agreed to go on a date. From that night on, they've been by each other's sides and proved the only thing they wanted on Independence Day was dependence on each other.

Stephanie and Jaeson, where do I begin?!? How can I say thank you enough for welcoming us with open arms and making us feel like family? Everything from the welcome gifts, to the hugs, to the cardigan, to sharing a wedding date with you was perfect. I can't begin to express my appreciation for documenting your first day as husband and wife…I can't wait to see what the future holds for you both! Much Love and Appreciation… j*

The gorgeous day started in Colonial Williamsburg, Virginia, at Stephanie's family home. Her Justin Alexander wedding dress and Kate Spade shoes were a perfect nod to her classic yet preppy style. I also happened to be particularly fond of her wedding invitations…designed and hand-made by her sister, Cara, each invite was a labor of love.

Stephanie partially dressed, but put on her finishing touches with her bridesmaids, all of whom were delighted to see the stunning bride…

Stephanie took a moment to read a heartfelt letter from Jaeson…

After the wedding ceremony, we spent time in Colonial Williamsburg and it felt like we went back in time…so much charm!

Oh, Stephanie, I'm going to repeat what everyone said on your wedding day: You're STUNNING.

JD captured this photo of Jaeson staring at his bride…just look at how happy he is!

While I captured this photo…

…JD captured this…

One of the most personalized aspect of Stephanie and Jaeson's wedding was the restoration of her mother's classic Corvette…her dad refurbished the car just in time for the wedding and it purred like a kitten lion…

Stephanie spent lots of time focusing on personalizing her wedding details…

I was particularly fond of Stephanie's decision to wear a cardigan over her wedding dress…she claimed it was a very east coast trend and all of the sudden I wanted to be part of the J. Crew clique.

Wonderful, joyous, and heartfelt speeches were delivered…

…and equally as heartfelt reactions were proffered…

A girl after my own heart, Stephanie danced her feet off…

…but Jaeson wasn't to be outdone…

One thing about Virginia wedding guests is that they'll close the dance floor and enjoy every second of a good night…
