Four Seasons Las Vegas Wedding : Laura+Jace

They met as kids. There's a picture of them posing for a team photo when they played t-ball together in elementary school…a photo their mothers look back on with sweet nostalgia. Their families floated in similar circles and while Jace and Laura went to high school together, they remained friends of friends.

After graduation, Jace and Laura went their own ways. She moved to California and soaked up the sunshine when she wasn't working as a graphic designer and he stayed in Kansas to attend law school. When Laura moved back to Kansas, she connected with old friends, cheered on her home sports teams, and updated Facebook with her favorite game updates. Jace couldn't help but smile whenever Laura updated her status because they shared mutual affection for athletics, especially the Kansas City Wizards.

Jace took a chance and sent Laura a Facebook message. They agreed to meet for a drink and when she approached the table, Jace realized the red hair t-baller from his youth blossomed into a stunning woman. They chatted for hours and agreed to meet again. After the second date, they knew they'd spend the rest of their lives together. They made things official with an intimate wedding in Las Vegas surrounded by their families and later hosted a reception in Kansas to celebrate the place their lives began…together.

Laura and Jace, you're two of the most kind, optimistic, and positive people I've ever met. Your love and personalities couldn't be deterred by rain or cold weather and this made your wedding day perfect. You reveled in each other and focused on what really mattered: marriage. It was beautiful to see and I appreciate documenting your special day! Much Love and Appreciation… j*

Laura and Jace married at Las Vegas Springs Preserve in what was supposed to be a garden wedding…but nature had other plans. In a rare turn of events, it rained for four days straight in Las Vegas, so they had to make adjustments, but remained smiling the entire day…

This amazing couple braved the rain for wedding photos and I couldn't be more thankful…

A girl after my own heart, Laura wanted a mix of natural and urban wedding photos, so once we left the Spring Reserves, we headed to take pictures at the Las Vegas sign…this is normally a crowded area, but on a rainy 50-degree day, the place remained ours!

No jackets? No umbrellas? No problem! This limo driver ensured we were covered. Literally.

Rain couldn't dampen this beautiful love…

After wedding photos, we headed for the wedding reception at the Four Seasons Las Vegas

A perfect dinner was set for an intimate meal and celebrations…Laura's brother and sister-in-law were ready to get the party started…

The reception was filled with personal moments…

…and lots of love and laughter…

I'll end with a view of the Las Vegas from the Four Seasons on what turned into a clear and perfect night…

Happy Wednesday!
