As photographers it's easy to desire a picture-picture backdrop, complete with golden light from a undistracted sunset. We crave environments that are rich and compliment our senses, but sometimes we're required to shoot in places that challenge our ability to see past facade…or see past the pile of trash on the corner.

More than anything, it's important for clients to feel just as confident in any environment, so today I'll be talking about making the best of any location, with an emphasis on shooting in an urban landscape.
