Vintage Wedding Inspiration at a Warehouse

There are nights when I crawl into bed and think I'm the luckiest girl to do what I love. These nights are usually preceded by a full day of creating, collaborating, and telling stories. When photographing the following shoot, I did all three of these things and crawled into bed that night with a smile on my face. Having the chance to create is one of the best things of being a photographer.

This shoot was inspired by a vintage warehouse and the wedding photos that resulted were a nod to the team's desire to make something new and add a splash of color for spring decor. The designer, Lindye Galloway, said, “When creating this shoot, we wanted to make a space that was a-typical. A place where saying vows are surrounded by history, the kind of history that a new life together would create. The atmosphere was eclectic, warm, inspiring, and full of eye catching details as the ceremony and reception were surrounded by the inventory of vintage rentals.”

I couldn't agree more and I'm thankful to have documented it all…lucky for us, Jen Campbell at Green Wedding Shoes is featuring the shoot today, so be sure to check it out for more photos!

The day started beautifully with eye candy from Copper Willow Paper Studio and floral decor by The Vine's Leaf

Many thanks to our sweet couple, Samantha and Drew for simply being in love…I adore working with real couples (as opposed to models) because the love they share is real. And it helps that they look like models too! 🙂

Lindye did such a great job with designing the ceremony and pulled lovely pieces from FOUND Vintage Rentals.

Dahlias are some of my favorite flowers, so I was beyond excited to shoot this stunning wedding bouquet again the Ferndale's wedding dress and Olivia Nelson belt…

I love working with Beauty by Melina…she knows how to make brides look gorgeous and her talent just blows my mind!

I'm always tickled pink when I get to photograph a Sweet and Saucy Shop wedding cake. Melody Brandon and I started our businesses around the same time and the very first styled shoot I photographed, I was lucky to work with one of the best bakers in the nation. Her work and ingenuity are so impressive!

The moment I started shooting the reception decor, I realized that this–this!!–was the kind of set up I want for a wedding celebration…now all I need to do is convince my husband to remarry me.

One of my favorite decor elements was mixing fruit and flowers…the scent was divine…

I spy pomegranates, pears, figs, and boysenberries in this table decor…

So much beauty…inside and out…

Many thanks to the spectacular team who pulled off a lovely day and wedding inspiration…
