Newport Beach Engagement : Adrianne+Scot

They'd run into each other at fundraisers and community events in their small town, and even participated on the worship team at church together. Their conversations were lighthearted, fun, and Scot had a way of making Adrianne laugh in a way that made her nose scrunch and display her bright smile. In a small town turn of events, Adrianne interviewed with Scot for a job as Director of Communications for his company. They met at a coffee shop and Scot was struck by her authenticity and transparency, later remarking he was impressed with her perpetually overflowing glass and joyfulness. She was hired on the spot.

Adrianne and Scot worked well together and it was a matter of time before they realized they were more than merely professionally compatible. In order to respect their professional environment, Adrianne promptly move on from the job she loved. She recounts the situation by saying, “I left a job I loved for a man I loved-with no regrets.”

Two and a half years later–to the day–Scot and Adrianne sat in the same coffee shop, he dropped to one knee, and asked Adrianne to be his wife.

Adrianne and Scot will be married in September and I'm thrilled to be working with Jeannie Savage of Details, Details for their wedding at Terranea Resort…with these two lovebirds, the day will be truly delightful. They traveled to Balboa Island in Newport Beach for their engagement photos at sunset…and fell deeper in love along the way…

Adrianne fell in love with Scot and was immediately smitten with his blue eyes and dimples…she's a self-proclaimed sucker for dimples.

Many thanks to the amazing Carina Lindgren at Flawless Faces for hair and makeup…

Happy Thursday!
