My New Stationary

I make no joke about my obsession with paper goods. Wrapping paper, note cards, stationery…if it can be written on, I'm buying it. I've been known to stalk indie paper stores in LA and collect letterpressed cards for every occasion. I have cards catalogued for Groundhog's Day, Cinco de Mayo, and I'm Sorry For What I Said When I Was Hungry (I send these cards to JD more than I'd like to admit).

I started this year with a newly redesigned blog and photography website, so I figured it was time to have new stationery made. I was excited, but hours after scouring Pinterest for inspiration, I realized I wanted something totally custom to me. For this, I turned to Ceci New York…she's the best in the business and knew she would respond with solid branding advice in relation to my paper goods.

I sent Ceci the following photos of what I envisioned and she took over from there (yes, these are taken with my iPhone…and I'm clearly not that crafty!)

What Ceci returned was the following…

She took my ideas, pressed the sleeve with gold foil and letterpressed the cards…

I wanted my stationery to be a division of my brand, of me. I hand-write notes to all my clients and it's nice to be proud of what they experience when they open it.

Many thanks to Ceci New York and her amazing team for seeing what I envisioned when at times I lacked the right words.
