Guelph, Canada Wedding : Daniela+Brady

Their hometown is small–located just outside Toronto, Canada–but the love they share is big. Like, Italian big. So big the wedding day love was felt, seen, and smelled as soon as someone walked into room, like a plume of sweet smoke. Daniela's sisters rushed from various suites in the Bed&Breakfast, preparing her wedding dress and laying out the accompanying details. This day, Daniela and Brady's wedding, was years in the making and they were determined it shined of perfection. And sisterly devotion.

Brady unfurled his custom suit from the closet, but before everything was organized on the bed, his best man ensured they toasted to what planned to be the best wedding to hit Guelph, Ontario. Glasses were raised in his honor and–more so–to Brady's ability to openly express his admiration and devotion to his future wife.

For years they waited to become husband and wife and it became a reality as they walked toward each other in a gorgeous garden underneath a tent of gray clouds. The rest of the day was spent sharing their love, dolling it out like the hundreds of homemade Italian desserts Daniela's mother baked. In the same manner, everyone experienced the sweet percolations of their love.

Daniela and Brady, I can't believe it's been over five years since we first corresponded via email. Who would have thought those emails from a blog reader would turn into a beautiful day for wedding photography?! I don't think Thank You could do justice for the love, respect, and admiration I have for you both, so perhaps Mile Grazie would convey a little more of how I feel. I hope you're enjoying Mexico and working on your tans and guacamole consumption…can't wait to hear all about it! Much Love and Appreciation… j*

The wedding preparation started at a lovely Bed&Breakfast in Guelph and though the sky threatened rain, Daniela took it all in stride…

Daniela stumbled upon her vintage-inspired wedding dress while shopping in Toronto and fell in love with the Yolan Cris design…

JD photographed Brady while he dressed, but his dog–Rex–stole the show in my opinion…

Okay, not really, because Brady looked very handsome, confident, and extraordinarily dapper as he waited to see Daniela before the ceremony…

I love when a groom sees his bride in a private moment for just the two of them…Brady's reaction was priceless!

Daniela wore a custom hairpiece in her beautiful hair, but can we just take a moment for Brady's hair…I mean, I was envious of his locks.

We knew rain was just minutes from breaking, but we quickly made our way through the University of Guelph's Arboretum and enjoyed the calm before the storm…

Just when I thought Daniela couldn't get any prettier, her bridal party joined her and her aura became even brighter from happiness…

Flowers on flowers

A couple that wears Gucci together, stays together…or something like that.

Sometimes prospective brides will wonder if seeing their groom before the wedding diminishes his reaction to seeing her walk down the aisle, but these are two entirely different moments. And emotions. Brady's tears stemmed from happiness and seeing his wife ready to say Forever.

And, clearly, Brady couldn't have been happier…

…as was Daniela…

As a complete surprise to the bride and groom, their beloved church in Guelph underwent a massive renovation the week of their wedding. After the initial shock from the lack of pews, the barren floor, and the floor-to-ceiling scaffolding, the couple realized the most important aspect of the day was committing their lives to God, regardless of whether things worked out the way they imagined. They're kinda awesome.

We quickly made our way to their reception at the University of Guelph to avoid the rain…and we were met with so much loveliness…

Daniela and Brady originally planned to have a wedding in Tuscany, but realized they wanted all their friends and family to witness their special day, so they opted to bring Italy to Canada by stringing lights, chandelier, and dangling rustic greens…

The best part of the reception decor was the headtable…not only was it beautiful, Brady made the table himself. Collecting old wood pieces from his grandfather's barn, he assembled it as a gift for his wife, a table that will start with them on the wedding day and carry throughout their marriage…

The reception was a blast and endless toasting ensued…

Daniela's sisters surprised the couple with a hilarious wedding game…their reactions reveal that it was slightly embarrassing as well!

The First Dance…

The rest of their wedding night was spent in each others' arms, dancing, and making beautiful memories as newly minted husband and wife…
