Forest Elopement

I'm incredibly excited to start the first full week of the year back in the studio and share a recent collaborative shoot with an amazing team of wedding creatives. The holidays were a wonderful time to recharge, but beginning 2015 with a forest elopement is a perfect way to kick off the year! I'm honored to have worked with this talented group of industry peers I'm happy to call friends…

Cassadra of Borrowed Blu and Jaclyn of My Olivia Nelson described the shoot as an effort to combine luxury and fashion with an outdoor feel into an intimate setting we reached for deep greens and touches of gold to bring this Forest Elopement full circle.

The setting was intimate and full of romance. Borrowed Blu created transitional settings for the couple to gradually move from their ceremony to a quaint candlelit dinner then to full luxury glamping.

The tablescape inspired by natures finest elements was lush with forest moss and fern, hints of wood, congac leather, fur, and ethereal candle light. Borrowed Blu pulled it together with their Vintage MODERN gold flatware, Acacia Wood Dinnerware, Gold Rimmed Stemware, Green Pressed Glassware, and Dip-Dyed Linens. The menu inspired by foraged ingredients provided the perfect blend of fresh berries, nuts, wine, cheese and a grilled entrée of organic root vegetables.

And what would be “glamping” without s'mores! The couples non-traditional take on a cake was provided by Mallow Mallow whom created the perfect gooey tiered mountain of s'mores. They even spread the love by handing out miniature s'mores kits as parting gifts to the few guest who attended.

Happy Monday!
