In a dark and crowded room, he saw her smile light up mid-laugh. Ferrah tossed her head to the side, her long black hair falling over her shoulders, and he knew–right then–he had to talk to her. That conversation in a dark and crowded room in Hollywood changed the trajectory of their lives.
Over time, she invited him on trips to shop for red-soled shoes…and he introduced her to the merits of Taco Tuesdays. She shared with him her love of Tom Ford…he took her to Lakers games. The polarities of their taste acted like a magnetic force, drawing them close in unexpected ways. Two years later, Ali asked Ferrah to spend the rest of her life with him.
It was befitting to return to the city of their first love for their wedding. On a warm and sunny afternoon in Hollywood, Ali and Ferrah invited their friends and family to the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel to bless their love and witness the magnetic force that brought them together.
