Six Word Winner

No joke. I've been speaking, dreaming, and texting in six word stories for the past couple days. Waiting by elevator. Please come. Cold. It's gotten to such a point that JD and I have been challenging each other to come up with ways to outdo each other and I've even infected my friends with the Six Word Challenge. Over brunch this afternoon, we spent time talking in six word sentences and I'm sure the tables next to us thought we were foreign exchange students trying to sound cool. The butter? Please pass. Good. Right?

To say that I'm pleasantly overwhelmed would be understatement. Oh, Internet, I cannot believe how amazing you are?! I've spent a large part of my day dedicated to combing through the hundred of entries and I've laughed, cried and loved this world in new ways. Thank you. The decision was uber difficult and I realized I couldn't choose the winner…at least not without enlisting help from trusted friends. It seemed like a handful of entries consistently earned high marks, so we kept on shortening the list until a favorite made it to the top.

The winner of my Six Word Story Challenge is: Gone to pick fruit. Love, Eve. – Maggie Hendrix of Maggie Hendrix Photography.
She'll be receiving a Kubota Photoshop Action Pro Pak and I wish her all the best! Be sure to leave a note of congratulations on her blog! 🙂

I'd be remiss if I didn't also note a few top entries who were all amazing in their own right:
She cooks alone, eats for two – Amy Starks of Starks Photography
I'm an expert at making lemonade – Don
Jasmine, Jasmine, you make me smile 🙂 – Kevin Kubota of Kubota Photoshop Actions
Hair gone, still have my breasts! – Tiffany
Anxious to meet you. Love, dad – Margaret Alvarez
