Facebook Fanpage

I definitely fought against the notion. It just struck me as…I don't know…weird? My friend David Jay hounded me for the last few months to get a Fanpage on Facebook. And I was all, Like, set one up myself…be the founding member and president?! Uhhh, weird. I thought about enlisting my mom to act as president of myFanpage, but seeing how she recently learned how to email and use emoticons (hey, mom, you sent me 47 emoticons in your last email), I doubt she's the most web saavy person to be in control. My mother would be more inclined to send you messenger pigeons or smoke signals before she signed up for Facebook.

I, however, have been struggling because about six months ago, I hit the 5,000 friend limit on Facebook. I'm sure if you've sent me a friend request you're thinking I'm too cool, but that's not how I roll. In fact, a girl at my last seminar asked me why I didn't accept her as my friend and I just about DIED from embarrassment! To be honest, I was hoping the rumors of removing the friend limit were going to come to pass, but no such luck.

I'd love and be honored to connect with people and blog readers on Facebook, so if you'd like to sign up for my Fanpage, you can CLICK HERE to do so. I plan on making my Fanpage the coolest thing on the web, so be prepared for dancing unicorns, endless rainbows, and JD performing on his famous kazoo. It's gonna be epic.

On a semi-related sidenote, did anyone notice the 546 messages in my Inbox? Umm, yeah…I'm trying to work on that. To be honest, I was bombarded with mass messages (ranging from the coolest nightclubs to Scrabble tips) and I just couldn't keep up. My bad. If you've sent me a message on Facebook and I haven't responded, shoot me an email and I'll try to make it up to you! 🙂

Happy Wednesday!
