Stephanie and Jose : Wedding

He was honest from the start. After one of their first few dates, they sat in his car in front of her house and he told her. Jose told Stephanie he wasn't looking for a girlfriend, he was looking for a best friend and soul mate. Stephanie nodded and agreed she wanted the same thing, but she knew–like most girls know–that actions and words were different. So she waited. Little did Stephanie realize Jose was thoughtful and quiet, but manifested his love through actions.

Stephanie got a flat tire, so Jose left work at his lunch hour to fix it. Stephanie lost her beloved grandfather, and Jose stood by her side and helped the family. Stephanie was involved at church and spent many hours helping others, so Jose got more involved to show his love for her and God. Stephanie slowly allowed Jose to morph from her best friend to soul mate.

A couple years later, Stephanie and Jose made a public declaration to love, honor, and cherish…and be best friends. Their wedding day glowed and their adulation for each other was palpable. This, many might say, is the true sign of finding one's perfect match.

Stephanie and Jose, I hope you're having a blast in Mexico! Enjoy your honeymoon and savor each moment together, much like the way you may savor a street taco! 🙂 Thank you for the honor of documenting your wedding and the events allowing you to become husband and wife. I'm blessed to have witnessed your love and I can't wait to see how your relationship will make the world a better place. Much Love and Appreciation…J*

My day started off right with this pair of saucy Kate Spade heels…

As this post progresses, it's noticeable Stephanie didn't let one detail slip through the cracks…she was a professional bride! 🙂 She made tags and labels for everything and anything and they were adorable!!

Peonies in bouquets make me swoon…

Steph, you're stunning.

The first time Stephanie's father saw her on the wedding day was so touching!

As a personalized touch, the guests were encouraged to take a embroidered handkerchief or a handmade boutonniere…

The wedding was at The Turnip Rose and the afternoon was gorgeous! Okay, it was HOT and gorgeous! 😉

Now, doesn't she look insanely happy to be married?!

I love moments when the couple doesn't know the camera is around…while I was shooting elsewhere, JD captured this moment of sheer happiness…
