Previsualizing Your Shoots

When I started my business, before each shoot I would worry over how to pose my subjects. Like, for days. Oh, yes, I'd spend so much time leading up to the shoot worrying, I'd run out of things to say to my couple and ideas for posing them! And then I’d imagine myself having to showcase my whistling skills to “She'll Be Coming ‘Round the Mountain”. I’ve learned to alleviate this kind of stress by thinking in advance of poses I'd like to execute as I photograph my clients. This act of previsualization involves imagining myriad images you have in mind for your couple before ever clicking the shutter. In this video, I'll discuss my previsualization techniques and the importance of walking subjects through this process.
