After I’d photographed couples long enough, I reached a point where I wanted to capture fun moments between these two people in love. It sounded easy, but capturing those breezy, carefree moments between my clients has proven to be one of the most difficult hurdles of my artistic career. How does one get fun photos without giving subjects something fun to do? This came with quite a bit of practice as I found my directive voice, which I’ll demonstrate in this video as I provide feedback, offer movement suggestions, and direct subjects into desired poses.
