My mama raised me to believe that if I could take what I have and make it work, then it'd lead me to even greater things in the future. I've learned to apply this belief to many aspects of my life, including photographing a wedding dress. Often times photographing a wedding dress indoors is difficult (because, really, how many ways can a photographer make a hotel bed in the background appear cool?), but I've slowly discovered that steps such as removing the hanger, stylizing the dress in good light, and using my instinct have proven helpful each time I’ve needed to capture this detail on a wedding day.
